
Instrument introduction
·ICP-MS (Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spec-trometry) is an analytical instrument that combines ICP technology with mass spectrometry technology.
· In ICP-MS, ICP plays the role of ion source, and the high-temperature plasma makes most of the elements in the sample ionize an electron to form a monovalent positive ion; Mass spectrometry is a mass screening and analyzer, which detects the strength of an ion by selecting ions with different mass/nucleus ratios (m/z), and then analyzes and calculates the strength of a certain element.
